What do I do if my regular Social Carer is unavailable?

If your regular support worker is unable to attend a shift (due to illness or leave), Blu Sky Care has a “continuity of care” process:

  • Notification: They will contact you as soon as possible to inform you of the unavailability.
  • Replacement: They will offer a suitable replacement worker from their team who has the necessary skills to meet your needs.
  • Your Choice: You have the right to accept the replacement or, if you prefer only your regular worker, you can choose to skip the session (though you should check if this falls within the cancellation window).
